A Silent Halloween
Halloween, a special fun day for the children. And, some adults. The day of the year when children can pretend to be their super hero, an angel, a ghost, cowboy or whatever the choice may be. They can’t wait to dress up and go house to house for those special treats. Anticipation builds up to the point of exploding. How happy they are. How excited they are. This year we have rules for Halloween. The government has put forth a mandate……no door to door. No candy. No contact. Ridiculous. Anyone thinking about the children? What else is going to be taken away from them? They can’t go out and play. They can’t see or visit their friends. They can’t go to school. No church either. No shopping, out for dinner, walks where others are. The children. Anyone thinking of them? Anyone? Halloween, a fun day turned silent.
Until the next time…..may your days be bright with laughter and filled with an abundance of love.
