AND YOU THINK IT’S HOT…..
Wow, today it is HOT. Nothing but heat for the last week. I don’t know about any of you but, I don’t do well in the “can hardly breathe” still air. You get yourself ready to go out and you get hit with a wall of fire the minute you open the door. Did you get ready for nothing? Why bother to look good? The heat will get you every time. Now, what can you possibly do to keep yourself cool WHILE you are outside? I couldn’t tell you. Nothing, unless you pack yourself in a frig. The grass is brown. The plants are withering away. I make sure we water at night and really give everything a very big gulp. You know, for me the best part of Summer is looking forward to Fall. I know it will be cooler and breathable…. If I had my way we’d live in the snow. Tell me, what about you? Like the heat? Prefer the snow? I just know that I love the green grass. The beautiful, colorful flowers. The smell in the air after a rainbow of rain. Just don’t like the blistering heat….And you? You think it’s hot??
