DILEMMA
Christmas. The “dilemma” time of the year. It’s supposed to be the happiest time of the year. Trees, decorations, crowds, sales, traffic, frustration, dinners, parties…… AND PRESENTS. It’s hard enough to try your hardest not to forget someone on your Christmas card list. But, have you looked at your Christmas presents list and thought what am I going to get them? Them……family, friends, coworkers. Maybe you also get a gift for your gardener, mailman, the UPS driver that has delivered to you for years. What a dilemma. I make a list of everyone’s name. THEN I try and think about their personality, likes and dislikes, hobbies, style, whatever is about them. And I do one person at a time. It is time consuming. Takes a lot of thinking. That is if you want to get the right present. You know it doesn’t have to cost a lot either. Anything that you think might suit them. I even look at the humorous side of the person. A funny gift might be exactly what they need during the holidays. Not everyone is happy this time of the year. Those are the one’s that I focus on. Anything to put a smile on their face and a happy ho ho in their day. Think about those on your list. Are they going to be the happy ho ho or the one’s you purchase by personality? Which ever just think about it. Think about the person. Think about them opening that special present from you. Sit down in a quiet place, make your list and think……..take the dilemma out of Christmas.
