HELLO, AGAIN……

Well, it’s been a very long time. So much has been happening since I last had a conversation for you. Covid for a start. I’m sure it has affected all of us in a different way. But, similar I’ll bet. Staying at home, locked in, unable to do the day to day routine that all of us were used to. Mask mandates. Vaccines that most of us were unsure of. Losing loved ones. So many hospitalized by themselves! That is one of the sad parts of the Covid virus. Imagine all the people who contracted this vile virus, admitted into the hospital and could not see loved ones or friends. Imagine it were you…..or maybe it was. 2 years of government control. 2 years of being separated from those who were important in our lives. 2 years of wearing a mask or be ousted for not. 2 years of job loss and unemployment that put a terrific burden on many families. Unemployment checks? How far did they go? Not very!!

In March of 2020 I fell ill. Went to my doctor, had appointments with many specialists and many more tests. And, after 2 years not one specialist knows what is wrong. Specialists. I always thought that they were the ones with all the answers. Sadly, I was wrong. So, 2 years later my health issues have not changed. To add to this I somehow have managed to have a cracked kneecap. Yes, you read it right. A cracked kneecap! That means orthopedic surgery.
