The Media
I realize that we need the media to report the news and keep us updated on activity around the world. But, there comes a time when they must report the news without any embellishments. Take the televised Republican Debates. I have watched with the anticipation of gaining knowledge on each candidate’s plan on all of the critical issues that are definitely a priority to the American voters. Each candidate has a 1 minute response to a question with a 30 second rebuttal if it affects one of the candidates.. I have yet to see this held. Should be equal time for all candidates….Not so! Disappointment was the feeling before, during and after each of the debates. It seems that the moderators at each and every one of these events has formed their own opinion on who should be the frontrunner or frontrunners. End result to sway the voters to support their candidate. Assuming that the American voter can not intelligently do this on their own. Perhaps we should show the media our level of intelligence by effecting their ratings….
