An Adventure or a Challenge……..

Several years ago, my husband and I took a road trip that consisted of 30 days from California to New Jersey. A family wedding was the reason. What an awesome trip. We saw parts of the country that we didn’t know existed. A stop at Little America in Flagstaff, AZ. The air was therapeutic. We got up one morning, in our pj’s at 5am and took a long walk. The air was crisp, cold but invigorating. The food was exceptional. The accommodations were splendid. Just hated to leave. A souvenir stop in the middle of no where in New Mexico called Clines Corners. I have never seen so many gadgets, knick knacks, clothes, shoes and whatever else you could think of in my life. We ate at some fantastic restaurants along the way. The scenery was breathtaking. We went through Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and straight across to Pennsylvania and into New Jersey. What a wild ride. The wedding was beautiful. Over the top I would say. Spared no dollars on this event. I was a little disappointed that it was so fast. Bride and groom left on their honeymoon and all the guests, family, went home. So, we decided to take another road trip up north to New England. Wow! Talk about beautiful. The colors were bursting into the air. Fall is the one time of the year to visit New England. Every color in the rainbow and then some. Stopped in Bar Harbor, Maine. Now, this is a heavenly place that you will not want to leave. Lobster every day. The ocean is only a tippy toe away. The best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The people were as friendly as your best friend. The hotel had a view of the ocean with ships passing by. You could almost wave at the passengers.
