Los Angeles – A Privileged City

Today I read that Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck will implement a new law, going into effect in 3 weeks.  Despite great opposition and questionable legal issues, the new policy will allow unlicensed drivers to avoid a 30 day impound of their cars. It absolutely fascinates me that the media is so gullible as to think they are capable of swaying the voters to their side. There are other means of obtaining news besides T.V. Instead of disregarding a story it would be refreshing if they would embrace qualities such as ethics and integrity. Reporting a story without the media spin would be something of a concept.
